Spoiler protection

Spoiler controls hide episode information; they are not parental controls or a filter for mature content.

Hide unwatched episode information

  1. Select your Plozz profile.
  2. Open Settings > Appearance > Spoiler Protection.
  3. Enable Hide spoilers for unwatched episodes on Apple TV, or Protect unwatched episodes on iPhone/iPad.
  4. Choose Blur Thumbnail or Placeholder Art.

Blur keeps the real thumbnail but obscures it. Placeholder Art uses series artwork instead of loading the episode image.

Protection treats episode images and text differently:

  • An episode you have not started has its thumbnail hidden.
  • An in-progress episode can show its thumbnail, but its title and overview stay hidden until watched.
  • Watched episodes are not hidden.
  • Movies, show artwork, and season artwork are not treated as unwatched episode thumbnails.

The result depends on the watched state supplied to Plozz. If information is hidden unexpectedly, check the active server user and episode history before marking anything watched.

Hide scores separately

Hide ratings until watched works independently of episode spoiler protection. Both protections are off by default. It hides external ratings for unfinished movies, episodes, shows, and seasons, including in-progress items. Press or tap a blurred rating to reveal it.

To hide scores entirely in a header, use the review-score controls in Home and detail-page settings instead.

Change Continue Watching cards

Open Settings > Screens & Navigation > Customize Home > Continue Watching:

  • Logo & Artwork identifies the title on its artwork, using series presentation for episodes.
  • Thumbnail & Title puts the title and details below the picture and follows spoiler masking.

Both choices display artwork; neither means “no image.” The mobile picker appears only when the Continue Watching row is enabled. These choices do not mark episodes watched or remove them from the row.

To clear an abandoned resume point instead, use Remove from Continue Watching.
