Profiles and sync

Plozz profiles separate app preferences; iCloud Sync and device setup reuse configuration elsewhere.

Use the right profile

Open Settings > Profiles to manage or switch Plozz profiles before changing libraries, playback, subtitles, or appearance.

Plex Home users and Silo profiles control server-side access and watch history. A Plozz profile is not a server account and does not replace its permissions.

Sync settings

  1. Open Settings > iCloud Sync on each device and enable sync.
  2. Use Sync Now to request an update.
  3. Review servers marked Needs sign-in on that page and complete their setup.

iCloud Sync carries profiles, settings, and server details. It does not automatically sign every device into your accounts: logins stay on each device.

Set up another device

On the receiving device, choose Set up from another device.

On the configured device, open Settings > iCloud Sync. On Apple TV, also choose Set Up Another Device.

Select the nearby receiver or enter its code. An iPhone/iPad can also scan the receiver’s QR code. Alternatively, scan the configured Apple TV’s displayed QR code with a new iPhone/iPad.

Compare the displayed verification codes and approve only a matching transfer. Approved setup can transfer supported sign-ins; Silo always requires independent device approval.

Keep watch history separate

Cross-server watch-state sync is separate from iCloud Sync. On iPhone/iPad, review Settings > Playback > Sync watch state across servers. Turn it off to stop Plozz copying watch updates to matching titles on other servers.
