Audio tracks and output
Choose the track you want in Plozz, then check your device and connected equipment for the actual output. A multichannel track label alone does not prove that speakers are receiving height audio.

Select a language or track
Reveal playback controls and open Audio on Apple TV, or the Audio submenu in iPhone/iPad playback options.
For future sessions, open Settings > Playback > Audio on Apple TV, or the Tracks section under Playback on iPhone/iPad, and set Preferred audio language. Choose original, device, or a specified language, with separate preferences for movies, TV shows, and anime.
Remember audio per series reuses a series' previous selection. If a show keeps selecting the wrong track, check that preference as well as the general language setting. Choosing a language cannot supply a track absent from the selected file.
Alternate versions can contain different audio tracks. Change versions if the expected language or mix belongs to another file.
Correct timing
The current player does not offer an adjustable audio delay. Playback Sync, when shown on iPhone/iPad, can offer subtitle delay without an audio-delay control.
For lip-sync problems, compare another audio track, title, and output route to narrow down the cause. Buffering and dropouts need playback troubleshooting, not subtitle timing changes.
Keep audio playing on iPhone or iPad
Enable Settings > Playback > Background Audio to continue video audio when locking the device or leaving Plozz. It is off by default. This does not download the video: streaming can keep using data. AirPlay and Picture in Picture have separate requirements.
TrueHD Atmos and DTS:X on Apple TV
On tvOS 26 or later, Settings > Playback > Audio > TrueHD Atmos and DTS:X enables height positioning from supported tracks on compatible equipment. It defaults to on.
This uses lossy conversion, not original TrueHD/DTS:X bitstream passthrough. Changes apply to new playback sessions. The option cannot add missing height information or make incompatible equipment support it.
If these tracks stutter or seeking is slow, turn it off and restart playback. Those tracks can still play without height positioning; Dolby Digital Plus Atmos is unaffected by this switch.
Server quality conversion may change the audio before it reaches the player. For the detailed supported-format list, see Plozz formats.
