Appearance and language

Open Settings > Appearance after selecting the Plozz profile you want to customize. These presentation choices do not change anyone else's server permissions.

Make cards easier to read

Choose a theme and whether to use gradient backgrounds. In Cards, adjust card style, labels, watched indicators, and unwatched-episode counts. Display Size changes card size, column count, and spacing across the app; it is not a video-resolution setting.

On Apple TV, card focus appearance changes how the selected card is emphasized. If a grid feels crowded or the selected title is difficult to recognize, try a larger display size and clearer labels before hiding content.

In Theme, set Liquid Glass to Off for solid backgrounds, or follow the system's Reduce Transparency preference. This is separate from card size.

Labels can be customized by view. A collection cover and the titles inside that collection are separate surfaces: titles inside collections and playlists use the Browse label choice.

Choose artwork

In Artwork, start with a preset:

  • Recommended: Plozz chooses artwork to suit each area.
  • Prefer my library's artwork: use library images first, with online fallback when missing.
  • Prefer artwork from metadata providers: use online images first, falling back to the library. Extra lookups can make browsing slower.

Customize individual views only when needed. Home's Watchlist row and the separate Watchlist page have different artwork scopes. Artwork saved with a download is selected when downloaded; existing copies keep their saved images.

These profile presentation choices are separate from the shared Metadata Providers configuration. A preference cannot create artwork that neither source supplies.

Change language or nighttime appearance

Open Settings > Language to change the app interface language. This is separate from audio language and subtitle language.

For hidden episode information, use Spoiler protection. For a picture that dims or warms on a schedule, use Circadian Mode. Home layout and navigation choices live under Screens & Navigation.
